DefenceNet.ai (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS app, Safari Web Extension, and related services collect, use, disclose, and protect your information.
We designed DefenceNet.ai to operate with zero data collection, zero tracking, and no user accounts, ensuring the highest standard of privacy and compliance with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines, GDPR, PIPEDA, and other applicable frameworks.
Your use of DefenceNet.ai constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
DefenceNet.ai is an on-device phishing-detection and link-security tool that analyzes URLs in real time using a patented AI engine.

You can use all core features without providing any personal information.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
We explicitly confirm that DefenceNet.ai does NOT collect, store, or transmit to us or any third-party:
3.1. Personal Information

3.3. Browsing & URL Data
We do not collect:
- Full URLs
- Click history

- HTTP/HTTPS request logs
Our Safari extension only reads the active URL locally, analyzes it in your device’s memory, and immediately discards it.
Nothing is sent off the device.
4. URL Scanning & Phishing Detection (On-Device Processing)
Our AI-powered phishing detection engine runs fully on-device.
When you click or preview a link:
- The Safari extension extracts the URL string only.
- The URL is processed on-device by our segment-aware AI model.
- A safe/unsafe classification is generated.
- The URL is immediately discarded.
No URL, partial URL, or classification result is:
- Stored
- Logged
- Transmitted
- Used for analytics
- Shared with third parties
5. Subscription & Auto-Renewal
DefenceNet.ai offers auto-renewable premium subscriptions managed entirely by Apple App Store.
We do not have access to:
- Your payment details
- Billing information
- Apple ID
- Purchase history outside of what Apple provides in anonymized form
Apple handles all billing through in-app purchase APIs under their own privacy policies.
You may cancel auto-renewal anytime in your App Store settings.
6. Safari Extension Permissions
Our Safari Extension may request permissions such as:
- “Read current webpage URL”
- “Display security warnings”
These permissions are strictly limited to providing phishing detection functionality.
- We do not access the full webpage content.
- We do not intercept form data, cookies, passwords, or session data.
- We do not monitor your browsing sessions beyond the active URL required for classification.
7. Security & Encryption
Although we do not store or transmit user data, we still apply industry-standard security best practices:
- All phishing detection is performed in secure on-device memory.
- No external servers receive or store identifiable data.
- No cloud databases are used to log user activity.
- If future optional cloud features are introduced, they will require explicit opt-in and will be governed by updated policies.
8. Third-Party Services
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs such as:
- Google Analytics

We never share any user data with:
- Third parties
